I have rehabilitated many animals, domestic and wild with the consciousness of ”We don’t kill people animals when they have strokes, illness, or injury. They same should apply to all animals.”

Another reference; A client came in terribly upset because her daughter’s cat had been diagnosed with diabetes. Both she and her daughter loved the cat more than anything.
My client said, “I prayed and prayed, and it says in the Bible whatever is prayed with the word would be so.” She then said her daughter took her cat to the vet, and the vet suggested that she euthanize her. She did. My client began crying and said, “I’m angry at God for not answering my prayers.”
She asked, why God didn’t heal the cat. I explained while there may be times when an animal may need our help when suffering, this wasn’t one of those times. I continued, shared the miraculous blessings of healing that took place with my cat Shakers, after his immobilizing stroke, and several other animals.
I then rattled off a list for her to ponder, saying:
Well, your daughter didn’t allow God an opportunity to answer her prayer.
She didn’t give the cat time or opportunity to heal.
She didn’t get other opinions
She didn’t communicate with the cat, to confirm the path it wanted
And above all, none of us know what miracles await the animal if we just ‘supported’ life instead of eradicating it.
How can anyone justify blaming God or being upset, when it is we, who are interfering with the divine process?”
Knowing my list of answers was probably hard to hear, I did concluded with compassion, suggesting that in the future, she should seek three other veterinary opinions and directly consult with the animal, and if she can’t do that herself, to call on an animal communicator.
My books “Fur Babies Speak” and “Life Beyond Us” reference this subject in depth.
